Software license
SoLoScreenSnap is provided under the MIT License included with the source and release. That license controls your right to use, copy, modify, and distribute the software.
No purchase required
The app is free. There are no paid feature tiers or trial limits. Optional donations support development and operating costs but do not purchase ownership, guaranteed updates, priority support, or additional app features.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for confirming that a download matches your operating system and for granting only the permissions you understand. Window management can move or resize other applications. Save important work before testing new layouts, especially with applications that enforce unusual minimum sizes or elevated privileges.
Platform limitations
Operating systems and third-party applications control many aspects of window behavior. Linux Wayland does not generally expose third-party window movement. Elevated Windows applications may require an equally elevated process. macOS requires Accessibility permission. These constraints may change as platforms change.
Support and updates
SoLoVision may provide updates, release notes, documentation, and support, but does not promise a particular release schedule or continuous compatibility with every operating system, display arrangement, or third-party app.
Third-party services
Cloudflare delivers the website and downloads. An optional donation provider processes contributions on its own hosted page. Those services have separate terms and privacy notices.
Warranty and liability
The software is provided "as is" without warranty, as stated in the MIT License. To the fullest extent allowed by applicable law, SoLoVision LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of the software, website, or downloads.
