SoLoScreenSnap does not require an account and does not include analytics, advertising, or product telemetry in the desktop app.
Desktop app data
The app reads local display and window metadata so it can list, move, resize, minimize, and restore windows. It stores your layout library, active layout, overlay order, visibility choices, padding, and related settings in the app's local data directory.
A bounded diagnostic log records technical snapping events to help troubleshoot failed or incorrect moves. The log remains local unless you choose to open and share it. Do not send private screenshots, documents, or unrelated application data when asking for support.
Operating system permissions
macOS requires Accessibility permission before another app can move or resize windows. Screen Recording permission is used for window thumbnails when that feature is available. Windows and Linux apply their own desktop-session and privilege boundaries. SoLoScreenSnap does not use these permissions to upload your screen or workspace.
Website and download requests
The public website and release files are served through Cloudflare. Like most hosting providers, Cloudflare may process request information such as IP address, browser type, requested path, timing, and security signals to deliver and protect the service. SoLoVision does not add a separate marketing analytics tracker to this site.
Optional donations
If you choose the donation link, payment information is handled on the payment provider's hosted page under that provider's privacy terms. SoLoScreenSnap does not receive or store card numbers. A donation is optional and does not change the app's features or support entitlement.
Retention and deletion
Desktop settings and diagnostics remain on your device until you delete the app data or remove them through your operating system. Website security and delivery logs follow Cloudflare and SoLoVision operational retention settings. Support email remains in SoLoVision's support systems as needed to answer the request and maintain reasonable business records.
